In a nutshell, the scientists found "moderate doses of caffeine, roughly equivalent to two cups of coffee, cut post-workout muscle pain by up to 48 percent in a small sample of volunteers."
They did also mentions the caveats, mainly (1) it may not work for the heavy coffee drinkers; (2) only a small group of women were sampled, so it may not work for men. I guess most people on this forum are probably SOL.  |
