How to translate
Sometimes i have troubles in translating some terms of bike racing from EN to CH.e.g.
GC contender:意思就是总成绩（General classification）靠前的车手，能对总成绩名次发起冲击。
How to find a Chinese word to match this?总成绩车手?No, i don't this can express what the english words mean. e.g.
Vino group:意思就是某个时刻和Vino在一起的一个车群。
translate to Chinese：Vino群？Vino组？Vino队？None of them is good i think. e.g.
favourites:比赛被看好的车手
translate to Chinese：热门车手？有希望车手？被看好车手？ Unfortunately your chinese is better than mine so i don't think i'll be able to help out.... in most cases, there isn't an exact term to translate certain words from EN to CH and vice versa... but usually the simplest answer tends to be the correct one. For example: "和Vino在一起的车群" and "被看好车手". Just MHO... Hey all, i'm new here... I'd find it really useful if we could start a Chinese to English glossary of cycling terms.
