降低避震系统的制动力 制动力会导致绝大多数系统僵化(通称刹车抱死)。避震系统僵化之后就不能充分追踪撞击,从而导致车轮跳动,打滑现象更严重,更加难以控制。Trek的积极制动轴(ABP)新技术将后枢轴置于与后轮轴同心的位置,从而减轻了刹车对避震系统的冲击。事实上ABP创造了制动情况下最积极的避震系统。由于ABP保持了避震系统一直处于运行状态,即使在高频率的撞击之下你的冲击也不会“累积”,这样你的车轮就可以追踪每次撞击。最终的结果是,打滑现象减少,更容易控制,效果更好,更有效地制动。
Reduces Braking Forces on Suspension Braking forces cause most suspension systems to stiffen (commonly known as brake jack). When suspension stiffens, it's not able to fully track bumps, resulting in wheel hop, increased skidding and decreased control.
Trek's new Active Braking Pivot (ABP) places the rear pivot concentric to the rear axle, which reduces the effect of braking on the suspension system. In fact, ABP creates the most active suspension under braking. Since ABP keeps suspension active, your shock doesn't 'pack up' under high frequency bumps, allowing your wheel to track every bump. The result-reduced skidding, more control, and better, more effective braking.
