Went to Labici, the Giant store near Labici and Bikehome. Here's my initial impression for the benefit of other newbies like myself :)
Labici does stock some exotic (read expensive) bikes. Fairly good selection. Sales person was friendly too, although I was just enquiring. They look to be authorised dealers for Commencal (sweet looking bikes btw)
The Giant shop nearby Labici is on the expensive side. They do stock a fair amount of Giant bike and frames. Mostly Giant, I didn't really notice other makes.
Eric you're right. Bikehome was probably the best shop so far. They have a good selection of parts and decent pricing. Not sure about the customer service since I was just browsing but they look friendly. I was hoping that they had complete Giant bikes but i only saw Treks. They do have Giant frames and other brands (I'm guessing they are local ones). |
