How to translate

Sometimes i have troubles in translating some terms of bike racing from EN to CH.
e.g.
GC contender:意思就是总成绩（General classification）靠前的车手，能对总成绩名次发起冲击。
How to find a Chinese word to match this?总成绩车手?No, i don't this can express what the english words mean.

sometimes keeping the original words is much better

sometimes u got to know that english and chinese cannot be translated directly, occasionally u might be able to do it, but the meaning of it might get lost somwhere... even for me as a bilingual (almost trilingual) person, i find it hard sometimes to translate english to chinese or chinese to english.

so yeah i cant be arsed sometimes, that is why perhaps singlish/manglish is the way to go for me. :)
