标题: MY ENGLISH IS VERY POOR
I'm a canbin attendant from China Eastern Airlines,I must always speak English with foreigners ,but my Englishi is really very poor!what can I do now ? How can I learn my English well? Who can help me ??

Hi There,

You must be xing yu's friend. The best method to improve spoken English is to speak more often...there is no other way. The other person whom you choose to practice with must be fluent in English too or the both of you will be practicing broken English.

Just learn and practice in this method.......if you don't satisfy with poor vocabulary..you should take the GRE lesson and examnation

r u serious? once an american asked me"i am puzzled why so many chinese students take GRE every year? do all of them wanna go abroad" i thought for a while and told him"no, some of them take GRE just to prove their English level or regard it as a way to remember words." "How crazy!"

so GRE is not a right way to learn english, especially oral english.

The first thing u need to do is forget "My English is very poor". As a canbin attendant English is just tool or skill for you , it's not a big deal.

BTW: Most of east airline canbin attendant English are quite good compares to those Japanese.

I saw the news many many years ago that memory chip can be transplanted in body or brain so that you can even remember everything you want . Is it terrible? I prefer to recall the wonderful memory and forget all the rest.

If   you want to improve your english , you only speak   more often ,donnot   shy ,but   sometime i usually   worried   ,perhaps make   a mistake ,so   i cannot   spesk   with   foreigers.now i have many teachers here ,i can write   something ,and when they are free   ,can tell   me   where   is the mistake .hehe

I am now working for the dragonair as a aircraft mechanic stationed in PVG. you gay's a flight attendant, a good job especially in state-owned enterprises like CHINA EASTERN.
As I know, not only all of the captains . first officers.chief pursurs and cps are not foreingers.but your communication and handiwriting in cabin log and tech log in chinese . so what I want to express --- surroundings results in what you are. And always talking in ENGLISH <espically professional ENGLISH of cabin service> thinking as a foreigner. and way to step it up for CHINA EASTEN girl

and same question in this thread how to impove my listening ENGLISH quickly when i am in touch with tai , who's always with a surprising tune in the end of each phrase. Cause our team has a engineer from South East Asian
