Pinarello Dogma FPX
As always, Pinarello isn't taking a backseat to anyone. One look at the Pinarello Dogma FP and you can see how Pinarello moved higher on the technological ladder than any other frame builder. Total attention to design and detail puts the Pinarello Dogma FP in a class all its own. It is the sum of Dogma FP in which the frameset and integrated fork interact to form the basis of its high powered performance.
The Pinarello FPX is sculpted out of Magnesium AK61 alloy to offer maximum comfort and absolute stability. Using its cutting-edge design, the Dogma FP features oversized tubing in the key areas - chain stays, seat tube and down tube which allow you to crank out pedal force like no other bike!
The Pinarello Dogma FPX uses the new FP geometry which shortens the tubes without compromising comfort. The new FP geometry positions the rider forward to a more aggressive stance for better energy transfer. With a steeper seat angle, the Dogma FPX has shorter chain stays which gives you a tighter rear triangle. The result is a more agile, better handling bike with no loss of power. With innovative changes to the frame, Pinarello created its new FP Onda Carbon Kevlar Fork which brings balance to the bike. So there is no loss of power in the front, Pinarello developed a unique conical head tube design which features a 1-1/4" fork crown that tapers to a 1-1/8" steerer. Designed by engineers, this uniquely shaped fork perfectly complements the frame and provides instant responsiveness to the overall handling. Using larger diameter bearings in the lower headset region, give you uncompromising road holding ability that's able absorb bumps over a wide variety of surfaces. It's a street fighter with muscles!
The Dogma Magnesium frameset remains as Pinarello's proudest achievement to date. The Dogma Project created a new category that has yet to be matched. Six years of research and development have resulted in the Dogma FPX for 2007 with the new ONDA FPX fork and rear chainstays. It's exceptionally comfortable yet totally ferocious of the road. The Dogma FPX is light, responsive, sharp, precise and transmits your power with each pedal stroke. |
