Bro, go for it! single speed is fun and mountains/hills are perfect for training and challenges!

Here's me (a week before my recent injury) riding up SheShan (佘山，~1.8 kms up hill only) on one of my many single speed bikes... gear ratio 53 x 16, tough but fun and doable!
